2020 MID ATLANTIC TOURNAMENTS

COVID-19 UPDATE (6/12/20) - With much of Pennsylvania in the process of reopening, we can officially announce the rescheduled Opening Day tournament for June 27th! As of June 12th, tournaments are planned for 06.27, 07.11, and 8.15 in York and 7.25 in Ridley Park!

COVID-19 UPDATE (4/23/2O) - The Opening Day Tournament (4/18/20) and the Long Island tournament (5/9/20) have been postponed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. MAW’s policy is to evaluate one tournament at a time to determine whether it is legally and socially responsible for a scheduled tournament to occur. Our hope is to be back playing as soon as both of those elements are in place. When/if the 2020 tournament season starts, we will determine whether previously postponed tournaments will be rescheduled.

MAW will host SEVEN open tournaments during the 2020 spring/summer season! These tournaments open to all players and teams regardless of experience level. In addition to three tournaments at MAW’s home base in York, PA, MAW will also make two stops in Ridley Park, PA in conjunction with the Ridley Park Wiffleball League, one on Long Island in partnership with GSWL NY, and an Albany, NY tournament with the AWAA. We hope you can join us at one of these events this spring and summer!

Each tournament stands on its on with a tournament champion and cash prize. However, each of the seven open tournaments also feeds into the MAW post-season tournaments. The teams that earn the most points by competing in and winning in the open tournaments will be eligible for the MAW Wild Card tournament and/or Mid Atlantic Championship tournaments in September. More information on the September tournaments is forthcoming.
